Does anyone have any ideas about these things I have observed/
I have a few pages that my spider software tells me where listed with Google last month now this month I see that those same pages were dropped by Google, why does this happen and what can I do to prevent this from happening again?
On some other pages my spider software tells me that I have pages listed with Google yet for two months now I get a blank spot when it comes to Keyword Ranking for those pages.
Even if I am way down in keyword ranking I should get something like Keyword Ranking >30 but I do not even get this, What is this about?

Are you pages in Google's database but just not ranking by keywords?
If so, then you've got to do a better job of optimizing them, and building up outside links.
Do you show any PageRank on the Google Toolbar?

Hi, thanks for your advice.
By the way I think your ezine is one of the best.
If I remember right you are up in Boston area as a
former student at BU I know it must so so cold right
now that is why I had to leave and become a beach bum
down here on South Beach.
Anyway, I checked on the Google toolbar on my pages and yes
many of them have a page rank but low. I assume the pages
with a page rank of 1 or above means they are indexed on Google. Most pages had a page rank of 1 while my home page has a page rank of 2. My home page had the highest page rank.
So from what I found I am thinking you are right. These pages need to be optimized. I did submit my home page to DMOZ but I am told it takes awhile so I will have to wait on that help.

Yep, I'm up near Boston, and yep, it's COOOOOLD! :xmas:
Since you have some pagerank, you are probably in Google's database. Optimizing will help, but you need to also get some links pointing to your page from other sites. First, you have to make sure you have a great site that is worth linking to. If you are providing valuable content, others will be happy to add a link to your site if they feel it will help their own site visitors.
Try submitting some general directories such as JoeAnt.com and GoGuides.org. Again, you have to have a great site with worthwhile content in order to get a listing, so be sure that you have that before submitting.
Good luck!
