the following is the keywords i have used on my home page

"printing press, <compnay name>, (compnay), (name),printing, press, printing services, security printing, book printing, commercial printing, packaging, pritning ,printing jobs, color printers, Printing quote, Printing estimate, web press, offset printing, sheet fed printing, newsletter printing, graphic design, prepress, electronic prepress, color scanning, scanning, (goegraphic location) , (country) , colour printing, color printing">

i did a website analysis on a particular site offering this free service adn it reported that the keyword "printing" is toomuch and may be rejected and considered as spamming.

i want to will this effect my ranking in google or it will not matter as google does not read keywords in the meta tags?

and is there any way to benefit frm the google dance. i mean improve ranking.

is ther any maximum number of times that a word can be used in the keyowrds tag? the webiste i used to test suggested not using a word more than 6 times!

ps.how important is SE marketing in the overall e-marketing of a website

As Google does not use meta tags for ranking, I cannot see how this would harm you, but it certainly wont help either - you'd have to ask on the Inktomi forum to see if it would harm you there.

Although meta keywords are not critical anymore i personnaly dont repeat a word more that 4-5 times. More dont improve things. Focus more and title and body content.

About the importance of SEO inside general emarketing, its hard to say. What i know is that SEO is extremely cost effective and works in the long term, whereas many other means are limited in time and have their cost related to time and trafic. figures often say SE trafic is around 20% of trafic, but i hardly believe it there is a great variation according to websites.
