Recently, someone posted an offhand comment in a message on these forums - a lighthearted remark about someone having trouble viewing source code because of a full cache. Just before I read that message, I had noticed that I was unable to view source on a couple of occasions, and I had been too busy with other things to stop and investigate the reason. When I saw that message, I understood.
In case anyone else is having this problem, here's how I carrected it. In the Internet Explorer menu, select Tools>Options. In the General tab, there is an area for Temporary Internet Files. Clicking the Delete Files button will delete all the saved copies of downloaded web pages from your hard drive. This took a couple of minutes on my machine. As soon as the files were deleted, I had no problem viewing source.
