I'm continuing my journey (and education) into your world. :D

I just activated my Google Adwords program with extremely narrow keywords. Google estimated I would get roughly 4 click-throughs a day for the 5 ads I created.

As I was modifying my account I watched the impressions mount. Pretty neat. When they translate to click-throughs (and more importantly - sales) then I will be really impressed.

Within 5 minutes of going live with the ads (and without any click-throughs being reported [I know - the reports are not real-time]), I got some SPAM from a company in NY offering me SEO services for $1.2K/Month.

Just wanted to know how you were going? Did you manage to clinch the sales?

We have a web form on our site where visitors can request brochures or send us comments. Web form activity increased from 1 submission every few days to 1-2 submissions a day. At least, that was before the war broke out. Things are a lot quieter now...

Our product is a technical product for a vertical market, so we never expected a high volume.

To date, we've spent ~$100 for ~550 click-throughs with GAW. We have several sales prospects in the pipeline that we are pretty sure would never have found us without the PPC ads.

We're pretty happy with the results so far. We've been able to tweak our campaigns to the point where we are now averaging about 8 cents per click.
