Link farm

I am thinking to exchange links with other site, but I am afraid Google will consider my site as link farm.

So, I would like to ask how many outbound links is too much for a small site (<50 pages)?

I would not worry about how many is too many. But do worry about the quality of the sites you will be linking to. Make sure they are of value to your visitors. Don't just link to any website you see.
