I cant take credit for this one (found it on another forum) if you already know about it then disregard it, but I have added it to all my pages with unimaginable results. You have to be one of the first in your category though or it doesnt help much.

I saw this in another forum as well, but i also thought that this tag was bogus or someone posted it as a joke....

To me, it is very bogus. It does not even look like anything relevant. The engines would simply ignore it.

Never saw it before...and what does not make sense is that it only helps if you are first in your category...but if the site is already first then why would you need such a tag?!?

One has to be careful reading SEO information...as there are plenty out there who love to dish out incorrect information. I can also imagine that some may even discourage valid techniques as a way to ensure they stay above the rest!~

All I can say is if the forum you read such a post also advertises for Goto, then that in itself should testify to the quality of content!~ Remember birds of a feather flock together!~ :bat:

Believe it or now, I ran across it one day. I had an email from someone who had seen a post of mine one of the many forums I visit. They had asked for some help. This must have been about 6 months ago. They actually had this tag on the all their pages. I had to laugh. Advised them to dump the tags as it did no good.
