Please review my writing and advice if I am doing things right way or not:
Current Google dance looks pretty rewarding for us and even though it is not yet finished we already see great results. Our backlinks rose from 8 to 316, PageRank from 4 to 5 for www.LoveCompass.com and from 0 to 6 for search.lovecompass.com. We seem to appear #5 for "dating services" and #2 for "online personals" even beating MSN personals for this search term.
So, my first question is what we should do to keep these positions and to avoid being banned or getting PR0. If you mention anything wrong on our site that might anyhow hurt, please advice.
Now our plans are to obtain #1 position for "dating services" and get into TOP10 for "online dating" (now #63 on www1 and www2).
In order to achieve that goal we decided to change our title from
Online Personals & Dating Services Network - LoveCompass
to
Online Dating Services & Online Personals Network - LoveCompass
and target on getting links with "Online Dating Services & Online Personals" as an anchor text.
My concern is: Are we doing right thing changing the title? Wouldn't we loose our "online personals" position? Is double "Online" going to be a problem? Can "&" hurt?
Additionally, we decided to tweak entire website design. New design will not change site's code much, but there are changes in Homepage. Please look at both our Current Homepage (http://www.lovecompass.com) and New Test Homepage - http://www.lovecompass.com/try/temp3.htm .
As you see entire network name is tweaked according to the new title. Do you think it is done correctly?
On the old page, H1 network name was showing first in the page code. Now there're a few simple text and two links before H1 network name. Do you think it may lead to good or bad changes?
New homepage now has one H1 heating, four h2 headings and six h3 headings.
Text content is almost same with a bit more "Online Dating" phrases.
Please tell what you think about a new page. Do you think we shout better stay with the old one not to break good rankings or maybe the new one is better? Which one is more user friendly?
Next month we expect to have about 200 new links from other sites and we also built about 4000 content-rich static pages with external and internal links and unique titles. (Members profiles, personals listings, dating directory, weblog). Entire site is updated daily; about 2000 pages change content due to random link inclusion and personals database changes) We also implemented Mod_Rewrite for our php files and made links wwww.lovecompass.com/profilile.php?ID=100 look like wwww.lovecompass.com/profilile100.htm . Now all pages are as if static for search engines.
We would really like to find out if we are doing everything right and that there is no fear to get banned for something. We aim to exchange link and raise our backlinks by about 500 every month and maybe get in Google TOP10 for "dating", "personals" and "singles" soon. We also hope that over 4000 internal links will help (we expect to double this amount of pages every month - it is not for search engines but for our services needs.)
Thanks for comments in advance.
