I would appreciate any input or suggestions. I launch http://www.contact-lens-source.com about two months ago. I've got a ranking of 4 on the home page.
I've actually been getting a 10% click through rate to my affiliate merchants with about 2-3 sales a day.
I am currently working on getting external links.
And recommendations.
Thanks

Hi Fredwat!
On first glance, the one eye image kind of creeps me out. I do think you need eye images but something about that one and the uneven circle around it isn't right.
You could use a better logo. Otherwise, it seems well organized and a fairly clean design. Your color scheme doesn't appeal to me but that's just me. The beige seems a little dark- maybe try lightening that or a lt grey instead?
The first line just past the second horizontal rule needs to end with a question mark.
I would probably add a link to "Articles" or "Resources" in the left nav bar that either jumps down to your articles or to another page listing the articles. They are pretty far down on the page. I wouldn't necessarily take them off the home page, just make them easier to find.

Great Suggestions that I will incorporate.
Your right that eye is creepy.

Hi Fred,
The eye didn't really creep me out, but Scottie's right in that you need a better logo.
Plus, the logo isn't in the same position on the home page as it is throught the rest of the site.
I'm also not too crazy about the color scheme.
There's something, it seems to me, missing on the site. Something that would give it a little more "oomph!". Maybe a few strategically placed graphics related to your product (like on the Acuvue page)?
I would move up the "Articles" section to get rid of the white space. Do you need that section on every page?
Your breadcrumbs menu is nice as it lets you know where you are in the site, but it's functionality should be reversed. The "Home" link should be clickable, rather than the page you are on.
Should you not call your home page link "Home" rather than "Contact Lens"?
But your information is all legible and the site is easy to navigate. Good Job!

Thanks Blue,
I'm pleased with the initial results. This is the first of a number of affiliate web sites I'm working on.
My full time job is Director of Marketing for a company that sells primarily treadmills online. We have an affiliate program with CJ and it is amazing how much savvy affiliates make.
