Who's biggest in Germany

Hi,

I'm doing some research into the current leading search engines (most used) in Germany, France and Italy. Of course I'm interested in peoples own opinions, but also some links to up-to-date stats from a reliable sources would also be good!

Also, for the same countries which SE paid-per-clicks scheme would give the best coverage?

We're also looking at this at the moment. We have been much more successful at Search Engine rankings for our English language websites than we have on our German language website (Software Management Lösungen (http://www.managesoft.de) ).

So we're exploring pay-per-click alternatives in Germany/Switzerland/Austria to supplement our German language traffic, while we work on improving our German search engine perofmrance.

So I'd be interested too in any advice posted to this thread.
