Hi,
I guess in forums like these there tend to be people who ask queries and those who answer them. Forgive me for always being the former.
All the same, here is my query for today:
Suppose, based on multiple criteria, I decide that I would like to primarily optimize a page for the term resume templates. However, I would secondarily like to optimize the page for free resume templates. Now my question is:
All other things (link, backlinks, tables, title, blah blah) being equal, only from the point of view of the keyphrase, resume templates, would there be a difference if:
1) the term resume templates appears 20 times all by itself in the copy.
2) the term resume templates appears 10 times all by itself and 10 times as part of the keyphrase free resume templates in the copy.
In conceptual terms, I guess what I am asking is: Does the increasing prominence of one keyphrase on a page, automatically decrease the prominence of other keyphrases, or are they two separate things?
Thanks
