Has anyone experienced inflated clicks due to fraudulent clicks maybe from competitiors?

I don't think so, but have you considered it could be Google's recent introduction of "Content Targeted Advertising"? I think they have increased the number of sites where your adwords are being syndicated in the past month. If you only want your Ads to appear on Google, you should change your preferences in the account management area. Try doing that for a month and see if you're still getting inflated clicks.

No. But we don't have that many competitors.

IIRC, google claims to have some filters in place to prevent click fraud.
