Dance / PR Timing Question

Hi All,

Knowing that the dance is underway as we speak, and that Page Rank must be calculated prior to the dance, if I expect an increase in Page Rank (due to securing a few excellent links ... I've had them for over a month now), does anyone know if the new Page Rank would show during the dance, or only after?

From my understanding - it might fluctuate during the dance - but stabalize .. only after the dance is complete.

That's correct, as the toolbar PR display is derived from one of many google datacenters. As the new results (started this time at www-ex) are propogated to the other datacenters the new PR calculations are displayed. Right now you may periodically see a new PR display, but that is by chance of accessing a datacenter that already has the new update.

There is a way to change a file within your computer, so the toolbar displays only the new updated datacenter ... but if you are interested in that I'll leave it for others to explain.
