Has anyone heard of or used SafeShoppingNetwork.com? They contacted one of our clients. They offer a minimum of 10,000 clicks for $300 per year and they claim to verify that sites are safe to shop at. Yet I have never heard of them.

Any thoughts...

I've just ran 'SafeShoppingNetwork' through Google. I', not sure how effective they are but it seems a lot of people are a bit miffed at being spammed by them.

Their marketing team obviously has a lot to learn.

Try it yourself and you probably find this:

Hello,
I have used the website testing technologies here at the Safe Shopping Network (http://www.safeshoppingnetwork.com) to test your site (tom.weblogs.com) for over 2200 security, usability and performance features. You will be pleased to know that it did quite well. The test is completely harmless and has been performed at the request of thousands of big name merchants. The reason I did the test is because we are currently searching the web for sites with high scores to add to our very popular (over two million shoppers per month) directory of tested safest shopping websites.

ect ect ....

Thanks. Based on my other research it does seem a bit sketchy. I am not sure if this is the right category for this question, but are there any safe shopper certification programs that are legit that members of this forum have used?
