you choose them on your own, right?
google does not give you any proposals for them, right?

with overture, they gave us a list of proposed keywords and text to go with it all. my manager wants the same thing from AdWords, but from their web site it does not seem it's the case.

You choose a keyword, and there is a suggestion tool that provides related keywords -> Google AdWords Keyword Suggestions (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox)

After entering a keyword you can select related keywords and then you can get the rest of the details, Clicks / Day, Average Cost-Per-Click (USD), Cost /
Day (USD), Average Position

merrick, I think DoubleV was asking about the suggested lists of words/title/desc that Overture sometime sends out to customers, or the option Overture has to pay for them to pick them for you. I don't believe AdWords has an option like that currently.

Google was doing that for the premium sponsors. They may still do that for you if your budget is big enough. I'd give them a call if you have the budget.

Jill,
do you have a phone #? all their contact us links seem to go to an online form.

Nope, sorry. I am not a big advertiser and don't have a number.

we filled out their contact form asking to call us. they did within a couple of hours. my manager was talking to them, not me. she was primarily interested in adwords. last year she actually tried a premium sponsorship campaign and said it did not really help (i was not involved in that project, so i don't know why it did not work for her. i tried asking her questions, but she doesn't have answers, or doesn't want to give me the answers). anyway, when she asked the girl about premium sponsorships, the girl rambled something like "i take care of adwords and don't know much about premium sponsorships", but in the end she said that the program is gonna be closed soon. she did not say why.
