Hi
Can anyone tell me "How To Get Listed In Teoma"????
I mean to say that, where should I submit (Free of cost) so that my site appears in teoma. In other way, I mean any backdoor entry ??
Ask.com is a paid submission. To be honest, I dont want to spend any money right now.
Waiting for HELP

AFAIK, the only way in to Teoma is through paid inclusion.

To add a note- I have paid to get sites into Teoma and there is no traffic from them. The fee is pretty low but so it the return.

Teoma has our site indexed in their database and we have never paid them for inclusion. Our site has been around for a while though...

Does your site get much traffic from Teoma? If so is it a consumer based site?

We have a site that has been around since 1999 which has a few pages in Teoma, maybe they got in there through directhit, I really do not know. What I do know is that I never paid any money to anyone for this sites inclusion. On a separate site I get Teoma coming around every now and then but minimal traffic for the pages it indexes compared to that of Google (and partners) and MSN, and I did not pay either for this site. It has been around only since late last year.

No and No. It's B2B.

I asked because our sites do not, but they are consumer based, and research based.

As is known from the Nielsen Netratings Audience Reach (http://searchenginewatch.com/reports/netratings.html) they are providing a service to some people, but I am not sure what the demographics of that audience are.

Sites getting into paid listings free are found through links. In the case of Teoma because it is heavy into link analysis for the "community" folders. I wouldn't be surprised if you need quite a few links to be added. I even got 1 free listing in L$ because the site is a good resource for specific information not easily found. It also takes a lot of time, in my case it was several months after it was on all of the others.

Most of my clients are listed in Teoma (as well as Ask Jeeves) and I never paid for any of those listings (and neither have the clients to my knowledge).
