I've read and heard a lot of fuss about the www-sj results lately. Mostly people saying to ignore that data center's results for a variety of reasons.
Today, I'm seeing www-cw and www-fi results to be in line with www-sj.
any comments or ideas?

-fi has been mirroring -sj for some time now. It is my understanding that the algorithm driving -sj is supposed to be applied to all of the data centers eventually. What is not clear is if the 2 month old data being used on -sj is being copied with it. If so, I expect Google will try to time things so that the propagation of the new algorithm coincides with the May dance. But that's all speculation.

Just curious what this stuff means. No sweat if you are too busy to explain.

Google has several servers. Each one is named. browse to www-sj.google.com to see the -sj server. The other servers are named similarly. google-dance.com lets you see the results from all of the servers at once.
