Interesting article, especially the quote:
Google's searches are not based on how often a term appears on a website, but on how many other websites are linked to it, especially popular sites such as Amazon.

....I put a link on every page I design with SoftDesigns link on it, the more links the more hits. Popularity party :cheers:

Yea JH, but we all know that Google bases ranks on many more things......

I agree it's more than just numbers...as they suggest, one link from Amazon is worth any dozen from smaller less authoritative sites.
