cached pages on google

Can anyone tell me on avg. the time it takes for google to update a cached page? My site was totally redone over a month ago and they still have the same cache of pages which makes me wonder if they have spidered the site. I did re-submit the site after the make-over was done. The site has grown tremendously since that time with new link exchanges, content etc. and I would like to know that they have my current site in their system and not ranking me according to the old.
