new tags?

I'll be honest, I'm still fairly new to the SEO, SEM thing. In my recent "discovery" tours of this topic, I ran across a couple things that don't seem to be covered very well in a lot of places. Two tags I'm wondering about are the key phrases and aesop tags.

Has anyone heard of these tags? And do you think they will be relevant in the future?

Hey ched, the key phrases is simply the keywords tag which is common.

The aseop tag you can throw away. Not only has it always been worthless, it was a marketing gimmick to begin with. :)

ty doug ... I know that the biggie (google) doesn't even pay attention to tags other than title anymore, but that other 20% is always worth wondering about ...

The <title> is important as is the <meta description> as well.
