First I'd just like to say a warm hello to everyone here! This will be my first post at this forum :)

Question...

A month ago, my site had a PR of 7 and now it is down to 0...

The biggest thing is that I still have a #12 ranking on all google servers except google.com. Why, or better yet, HOW, can my site be listed #12 on a VERY SEARCHED for keyowrd, if I have a PR of 0????

PR reports are meaningless right now as Google is updating their index. Wait a few weeks and the PR numbers should stabilize on the correct numbers.

Because you don't have a PR 0.

Turn your toolbar off and go about your business.

I can't simply go about my business...

Some of my most respected and VERY HIGHLY ranked link partners are giving me the boot due to my new PR because they only keep partners with a PR of 5 or better. So basically I just have to take the beating and wait til google decides to be nice again?

Tell your "PR" partners to view this thread. The PR on EVERY site right now is BOGUS. Tell them their very own PR's are bogus right now. Tell them to kiss your "" and move on with their darn business as usual. Tell them to worry about things that mean something.

If they still want to give you the boot then take Doug's suggestion that they kiss your booty...cuz they're too stupid for you to have as link partners!

this is VERY common, let them sweat over PR, as Jill and Doug say, get on with your business, find new partners

PageRank Forget PageRank -- your focus needs to be on the information on your site and on the way you interact with your community. To add a link or delete a link because someone has a PageRank different from what you would have expected is as bad as agism, racism and discriminating against me because I am a man or woman. What they are actually doing is GoogleRankism -- I will only mix with people who have PR5 or better!! What rubbish.
