301 Redirect on IIS

This is probably a stupid question, but I have searched the web and cannot find an answer to this.

I have had to move my website to IIS.

In the past, I always had a 301 redirect from mysite.com to www.mysite.com.

I can't see a way to do this on IIS without creating another virtual site, which I don't have the ability to do.

I see lots of information on the web about how to do a 301 redirect from www.domain1.com to www.domain2.com. But I can't find an example of how to do it within the same domain.

I thought putting some asp code to do this, but then I thought I would have to add that code to every page on my site.

I am sure I must be missing something here.

Please help if you can.

Thanks,

Don
