Please review

I have just changed my ppc search engine into a pay for inclusion engine with a option to submit for free while I have enough space on my server.

I have developed a manual relevance rating system which I would like to get some advise on how to improve.

I am still working on the site so keep that in mind.

Also I would need to know if my About us page is good enough.

If anybody has time then I would like to get some comments on grammer because english is not my first language.

Does the site load fast enough?
Does it look ok.

How can I make it a better search engine both for my visitors and members?

You can submit you site here

Thanks

Site review

Hi, I looked at your site and did a few searches.

1. The speed was about 2-4 seconds which is not bad at all. The News Directory and search was the fastest at about 1 second. And the news was very up to date which is good. I have seen some that offer news and it is always behind the a day.
2. I like the directory structure after seeing so many engines with the same old single directory listings. Especially the Parent Directory.
3. Your grammar is ok for everyday conversational english. You need to tackle one page at a time and improve the "business language and sound" on the pages. Why not visit other english speaking search engines and view their pages to get some ideas for how to word your pages.
4. The left side of the search results page looks lonely. You may want to work on the appearance of the search results page.
6. I wish you had an easier name to remember and type in. Sometimes the name is what puts one engine above the rest.
7. By the way the search results were relevant. With so many engines with bad results these days that was good to see.

Good Luck

ROC

Interesting script, easy to use and browse but the topic structure is somewhat unique and takes some getting used to. It is nice to see a topic structure that’s not a DMOZ clone or similarity however. Best of Luck to You!

I have just added your site to our submission list, but it won't be published until next month.

I like your approach to operating a search engine and wish you all the best luck. It looks like you are off to a pretty good start with the traffic you are getting.
