Conversion is a very different thing from getting traffic. Without viewing the site it is very difficult to address the issue , however, some common points that often affect/ help improve conversion are :

a) Usability issues ( this is a borad domain and includes various factors)

b) Navigation - make sure your visitors can navigate through out the site very easily

c) Proper web merchandising - display your products properly and attractively for your visitors

d) Call to action - use proper call to action that can initiate the sale process

e) Order process - make your order process as simple as possible, people are often reluctant to feel out long forms.

f) Payment processor - use a reliable and trusted payment processor, most people would think twice before putting in their CC info in some unknown processor's website

g) If possible get some accreditation from organizations like BBB.

Once you have addressed these issues, you can create more than one version of your key pages and try doing some Split testing to see which works better with your visitors.

This has nothing to do with Google, so moving the thread.

Anyway; as Rishi said, no way to help you as each site looks different and is different.

Another thing to consider; is what you are offering something that people actually want/need?

One more point to what rishi said - If i may add is to check out your site stats and find out the reason (the keyword/phrase) for which the visitors are coming in to your site and then match the site content / the site products.

Are they related?

yeah,.... there are MANY, many reasons why you are not converting. Another one could be maybe your site is just too ugly for people?

You can clearly see that without seeing the site in question it's really not possible to give you much help.
