This list of the types of firms who do NOT make my list of SEO firms is certainly not all-inclusive. This is meant as a simple guide to help you when you are researching SEO firms.
Submission Type Firms
Those sites who claim to submit you to hundreds or thousands of search engines, etc. They may even charge you a small fee for the priviledge. STAY AWAY.
Firms Who Guarantee a Rank
These types claim to get a particular rank on keywords. We do NOT control the search engines. No way to guarantee a rank. What would you do? Guarantee for one day, one week, a month? How would you guarantee this? Read the fine print on these so-called guarantees as these types of firms will burn you. STAY AWAY.
