  1. What are web templates?
    A web template is a pre-designed general layout which is used as a basis for your site. Your own logo, content, photographs and colors will be used, so although a template determines the basic layout, each design is individually customized. You will need to supply all content in electronic format: text (Word or PowerPoint files are fine), a logo and photos if you have any. We can assist with logo design, provide photographs and graphics or type your content from a hard copy for an additional fee?
  2. What kind of technical skills do I need to learn in order to use the template?
    A template can usually not be used by itself. Some content and images are always modified or added to suit your needs. To set up the template for the website you should know the basics. For modifications in the script to add content and/or images, you should be familiar with HTML itself and any HTML editor. You can even use notepad to edit html if you are proficient with HTML. For modifications in default pictures and/or making your own, you should be adept at Adobe PhotoShop and Flash. If you have difficulty in reusing the template, we are there to assists you. Charges however apply for customization as per custom website design price system. You can talk to our representative to negotiate how much and what nature of changes you need and he/she will provide you with a quotation.
  3. What is included in a typical web template?
    A web template will provide you with a web page or multiple web pages with a little basic content and hyperlinks, all of which may be changed or edited. There are graphics and html files included in the templates, such as default layout pictures, side bars, menus, default banners, frame setting etc. These are all necessary to develop a website.
  4. What software do you use to make web templates?
    We use a multitude of state-of-the art technologies to develop website and their design. For website design, we use Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Front Page Adobe Flash, Swish 2.0 etc. For web page writing we use scripting languages like HMTL, JavaScript etc.
  5. Would these web templates be compatible with my own website?
    A web template is an infrastructure of a website in itself. It just has to be tweaked a little according to your needs. These templates are totally modifiable and if you do not have a clue about how to set them up them, we are there to assist you.
  6. Can I replace the template images with my own images?
    Yes, you can replace all the template images with your own. The images are named according to the name of the page. Contact.jpg goes on the contact page and so on. All the images are kept in a separate directory to make it less confusing. Gallery pictures are named generically so you can add your own pictures without having to edit the code in the pages.
  7. Can I use my own logo in a web template?
    Setting up the pages with your own logo is fairly easy. Our templates are created so you can globally change the entire site at one time. You simply rename one file so the site doesn't use a flash header and instead calls a file we have already set up with a graphic. Then you edit the graphic with your own logo.
  8. I do not have time to learn about all this? Can you customize a ready-made template for me?
    We are there to help you out at every process junction. Our web template package comes with a small-term technical support deal to help you out in customizing and implementing acquired template(s) for your website. If you would like us to completely customize a template for you, we would gladly do so. Applicable charges would apply.   9. What if want to buy the complete rights of the template design?
    We offer both exclusive and non-exclusive purchase of a web template. A non-exclusive purchase would mean that you will get your desired template for a nominal cost but it will still be available for other people to buy. If you want to buy exclusive rights to a web template, the cost will be higher, closer to custom web design but the web template will no longer be available for use by any other individual or company. Before making a purchase, make sure that the template you are interested in has not been downloaded/bought by a large number of people. Otherwise, you might end up having a website that looks similar to a number of websites over the internet.
